Trial & Error

This is the cover Image of the album. It is composed by 9 squares forming a three by three grid.

There is a photograph of someones legs resting on top of a coach, grabbing a cushion in the center image.

The eight surrounding images are variations of that centered photograph, with glitchy effects, such as stripes of changed colours, deformation of pixels, and unfocused areas.

On the top left square, Trial and Error and Davarpe can be read.

Released December 4, 2021
This was davarpe’s debut album.

It materialized as a recompilation of some of the works developed from the 18th of November of 2020 until the 12th of October of 2021.

There was not a specific tale to tell from the album as a whole, rather than the discovery and improvement during its progression. That is shown with the order of the songs, that are chronologically arranged.

Trial and Error meant learning mainly by committing mistakes and tweaking the outcomes, giving the album its name.

Synthphony: Cycles of Aether

This is the cover image of Synthphony: Cycles of Aether.

It showcases three main rocky-like blurred objets in a likely floating states.

There are some other small dots that appear to be blurred rocked too.

On top of it, the name of the album can be read.

There are two empty squares overlapping in the center, an illustration that will be the base to graphically express each of the different songs.

Lastly, 6 empty squares aligned and spaced on the lower border float, as a sign to represent each of the different songs in the album.
The invited artists were:
Mario Lizana Calvo for the photography
Bianca Bănică for the poetry
Alan Porter for the illustrations
Released from May 26, 2023 to September 7, 2023
This second album mixes symphonic instruments with electronic sounds, combining the names into the title of the album “Synthphony: Cycles of Aether”.

Another key aspect of the project was to set different collaborations from various artists and fields where the goal was to evoke an abstract atmosphere free to wander by those who decide to experience all the available content.

Thanks to the additions of Spotify Canvases and Lyrics, the strategy was to take advantage of the tools in order to show every artist work in the same spot in the platform. Photography and illustration can be seen in the covers and canvases of the songs, the poems appear in the lyrics of the songs, even though they do not contain any lyrics.

The album became an experimental digital gallery inside Spotify.
